VOLVO - The Swedish-based automaker will also release a fleet of 100 self-driving cars on public roads in China, but it's not clear when that trial will begin. Both the Sweden- and China-based pilots will give local citizens a chance to ride in the car and experience full autonomy.
Volvo is on a mission to make its cars "deathproof" by 2020 — the 2017 trial will be a big step in that direction.
