An eye witness account.
It was Friday 20th January 2017, far away in the west coast, the 45th President of the United States President Donald Trump was taking his oath in Washington DC while down in a West African State, South of Nigeria, in the city of Port Harcourt, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)’s victory rally in support of the newly elected United States president was also going on at the same time.
Waterlines Bus Stop:
The procession was orderly and peaceful (trust me, no exaggerations), the guys were much, am tempted to say more than 500k people but not sure about the numbers, I was happy to see the police around the corner to ensure peace and decorum as the rally continued joyfully.
St John’s Bus Stop:
The rally has gained good momentum at this point, more IPOB members have joined the rally but the most striking thing still remains, “it was peaceful”, the members were taking turns to control the huge traffic which has built up at this time.
Garrison:
I can see two truck load of military men, army to be precise jumping out of their trucks and then blocking the road to stop the IPOB members from advancing forward to Garrison, Offcourse, this was the much my eyes witnessed.
Less than 1 hour later, I heard some people were killed, and many others wounded.
The question is, who gave the orders to shoot unarmed civilians?
At what point would the IPOB members stop dying trying to pay the supreme price for their dream country?
